In a physical game Tuesday night Franklin Simpson overpowered Grayson County 7-1 to advance to the District Championships
Thursday night October 11th at Franklin Simpson. Grayson County jumped out to an early 1-0 lead but found themselves down at half by 2.
The 11-8-1 Wildcats will face Muhlenburg North who defeated Muhlenberg South 4-0 to advance to the title game. Muhlenburg North has a record of 11-6-3 overall for the season. Franklin Simpson and Muhlenburg North faced each other in regular season play in early September where the Wildcats defeated North 7-0.

In addition to advancing to the championship game, the Wildcats achieved a milestone by winning their 100th game since the inception of the Franklin Simpson soccer program 8 years ago.

Wildcat Senior Midfielder Austin Perkins was injured early in the game and is questionable if he will return for the remainder of post season play.
