It's been a week or so since I have posted one of these, so I figured for all 16 people that read it, well enjoy! Going to go with some quick hitters again.

-A journalist I like to read says 'I root for me, so of course I want the teams I write about to win, it makes things easier.' I'm paraphrasing that, but that's the brunt of what he says. I like that and have adopted that mentality. That being said, I hope WKU can beat Louisville on Friday night. I'm not a WKU fan or graduate, but if they win it's a better story to write and better highlights to show. It's also a lot better soundbites from coach and players. However, I don't see it happening.

-I'm still getting around to seeing more and more HS bball teams play, but from who I have seen play, I really like Glasgow's Quentin Ellis. He may be a little undersized, but he is explosive, can run the point and shoots the ball really well. Could be the type of player to help lead the Scotties to a good post-season run.

-I know the NFL is nearing playoff time, but it's never too early to talk about next season. I really hope to see Bobby Rainey on someone's roster. I think he should get drafted and it would be crazy if he didn't, but even if he doesn't, someone will take a chance on him. Whoever does, will get a steal. I'm not saying he will be an all-pro or even a 1,000 yard rusher, but he's a good kid who will have an impact on whatever team he lands on.
