Tonight's the night. I'm calling it.
WKU is going to get their first win of the season over rival MTSU.
Why do I think this?
I know the team hasn't given a lot of reason for people to think they are going to win anytime soon, but it happens tonight. 1) It's a rivalry game and if the players can't get up to play against their rival then they shouldn't be playing. 2) It's on the road. Now I know in sports it's called a HOME FIELD advantage, but for WKU I think it's the exact opposite.
Since the tops haven't won at home in nearly three years, I think their first true road game is going to be a sigh of relief.
They don't have the added pressure of winning at home to snap the losing streak, they can just go out and play. They looked like a different team last week against Arkansas State, and came close to getting that first win. I say, tonight they get the job done. I'll go with WKU 24- MTSU 17.
Feel free to blast me if I'm wrong, but I'm confident I won't be.
