Many thanks to all the volunteer fire departments in Adair, Green, Grayson and Breckinridge counties for making our portion of the Crusade For Children live remotes from South Central Kentucky such a success!

This year, the 56th Crusade brought in $5,289,841 - that's a $40,000 increase over 2008!

Here I am talking live with Allen Johnson, chief of the Campbellsville Fire Department who will take over next year as the local fire coordinator for the Crusade.  To his right is his wife Angie and Linda Greenwell who (along with her husband Bill to my left) will retire this year after 33 years serving the Crusade.  God bless the Greenwells!!

Here we are toward the end of the Rough River Lake live remote with members of the Leitchfield Fire Department.  What was so incredible to me is the outpouring this year by the citizens of the Grayson/Breckinridge county areas which were some of the hardest hit after the January ice storm - yet, they gave more money than last year to the Crusade which is an incredible testimony to the rest of the world as to the calibur of people we have in South Central Kentucky.  YOU ALL ROCK!!!  God bless ya!
