You've seen the pictures from last year's New England adventure.  Well, let's put it this way...you've seen most of the pictures.  There are hundreds of them, so I keep adding them when I can.  But that should give you just a hint as to the awesome time Shelia and I had with 26 other WBKO viewers who chose to go with us back in September.

Now, it's time to start planning for our next big adventure!

I am excited to invite you to come go with me and my wife Shelia for an 11-day experience across the Plains, through the Rocky Mountains and Sierra Nevada's past Lake Tahoe to the California Pacific Coast...by train!

It's called The Great California Train Adventure, June 14th through the 24th.

We'll leave Bowling Green and travel by motorcoach to Chicago.  In the Windy City, we'll board the famous Amtrak California Zephyr that will take us through the Plains to Denver and into the front range of the Rockies!  We'll cross the Continental Divide and through the Moffat Tunnel (just one of 29 tunnels we'll pass through).  Then it's on to the famous canyons of the Rocky Mountains onward to Utah.

We get off the train in Reno and hop a motorcoach through the Sierra Nevada's to Lake Tahoe.  There, we will board the "M.S. Dixie" and cruise the crystal-blue waters of the famous lake.

At the end of day 5, we arrive in San Francisco where we'll spend the next day touring the city and the famous Golden Gate bridge!  We'll take a boat tour under the bridge and into San Francisco Bay and around Alcatraz.

Want to ride a cable car on the streets of San Francisco?  We'll do that the morning of day 7 (box of Rice-A-Roni optional) then hop a motorcoach down to Monterey where we'll stop and shop at famous Pebble Beach, home of the great PGA tour.

We continue down US Highway 1 where we'll see majestic California Redwoods, Hearst Castle, antique gardens and the cliffs of Shell and Pismo Beaches.

Ever heard of "Little Denmark"?  Solvang, California is full of authentic Danish architecture and windmills and not far from Santa Barbara where we'll stop for pictures and lodging at the end of day 9.

Finally, we follow the Pacific oceanside to Los Angeles and into famous Hollywood where we stop at the Kodak Theatre and other famous Tinseltown landmarks.

You have only until April 16th to get your deposit in and claim your seats for the adventure of a lifetime!

Don't miss this one!  I've already had a number of WBKO viewers interested in this adventure (some that went with me to New England!) and we want you to come along and have fun with us, too!

Download the full-color brochure and pricing information by clicking here.

Call 1-800-826-2266 to make your reservation - or to request more information now!

C'mon...you know you want to go.  You've seen by the pictures what a great time we had in New England.  Shelia and I have never been to the West Coast and have never rode a train...so this will be our first adventure travelling by rail...and we'd love to share the experience with you!

Email me if you would like to know more.

Chris

Chris, I grew up in Northern Calif. and rode the Zephyr several times. I gotta say, you will be missing the best part by not going through the Feather River Canyon...However, Lake Tahoe is worth the trade off. The only thing wrong with your itinerary is that you won't have enough time in each place. San Francisco could keep you busy for a week or more. I'll be watching your reports. Have a great time!!!!
