The strike against General Motors has ended, but a strike against an area trucking company has become violent.
We have the details in this Sept. 26 edition of Crime Stoppers.
Teamsters from Local 89 began striking T.S. Trucking in Bowling Green on May 17.
The truck drivers are seeking better benefits and raises.
Last week, a T.S. Trucking security guard was assaulted and authorities believe the attack is related to the strike.
Just after midnight on Wed. Sept.19, Bowling Green Police were called to T.S. Trucking just off Nashville Rd. for an assault.
They found a T.S. Trucking security guard lying face-down by the back gate.
He had been exiting the building when two white men jumped him from behind, punching and kicking him in the head.
The men then ran off toward Louisville Rd.
One of them was a white male, wearing a red hat and a yellow bandanna over his face, with brown jersey gloves.
He had a country accent.
The other white male wore a black ski mask and jersey gloves.
