Police say at about 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, the Houchens Market in the 1500 block of U.S. Highway 31W Bypass in Bowling Green was robbed by a white male wearing a pillowcase over his head. Armed with a knife, he demanded money. He fled out the door with $700, jumped on a maroon bicycle, and rode up Cabell Drive toward Chestnut Street.
Police believe he may be the same man who robbed the Hilltopper BP station in the 1600 block of the Bypass May 16. They think the suspect may live in the area.
