Just before midnight Thursday September 16, someone stole seven
Kubota Rough Terrain Vehicles (RTV's) from Hobdy, Dye and Read in
Scottsville.

The thieves then stole a white 2006 Freightliner 18-wheeler from Cooksey’s Truck Service. They drove it into a field and loaded the stolen RTV's. One of the them rolled off the makeshift ramp and overturned. It was recovered at the scene.

The next morning, Friday September 17 the stolen Freightliner was found abandoned in Birmingham, Alabama. However, the white
trailer containing the six stolen RTV's was not located.
