At around 4:30 in the morning on Tuesday, November 23, a resident was awakened by the sound of the floor creaking. When the person got up to check on the noise, a black male was seen in the living room.
The burglar said he had a gun, and after a brief confrontation, the suspect fled out the door and ran toward the 31-W Bypass. A police K-9 unit tracked the suspect to the 1000 block of Greenwood Alley.
The suspect is described as a black male, 18-25 years old, clean shaven, with short hair, average build, and was last seen wearing a dark-colored puffy coat.
