Crime Stoppers: Car Break-ins

Bowling Green Police say on Thursday night, October 28, someone broke into vehicles on Threewood Circle, Sandwedge Court, and Elmwood Court in the Hartland subdivision.

A .380 caliber Sig Sauer pistol was stolen from one of the cars. Also taken were a Whistler radar detector, a Garmin Street Pilot III GPS system, a video camera lens, keys, a purse, a cell phone, and two bicycles.

Small, muddy footprints and bicycle tracks lead police to believe the suspects might be juveniles. They bicycles have been recovered, but authorities are till concerned about the stolen weapon.
