Crime Stoppers: Jewelry Store Watch

Bowling Green police are investigating a theft from a local jewelry store and you can help them.

We have details in this week's Crime Stoppers.

We have surveillance video of the actual theft of a Rolex watch in the Nov. 21 "Crime of the Week."

On Saturday, Nov. 17, a black male entered Wanda Jewelers in Greenwood Mall saying he was looking for diamonds.

The suspect then asked to see a woman's Rolex watch.

When the clerk set the watch on the counter, the suspect grabbed it and fled out the store.

He ran into the parking lot and got into a stolen white van with dark side windows.

Police found the van in the Scottsville Rd. White Castle parking lot the next day.

The suspect is described as a black male, in his 20s, wearing a Girbaud jacket.

The stolen watch is an 18-carat gold, women's presidential Rolex watch with a pearl face and diamond bezel.

If you know anything about this stolen watch, please call Crime Stoppers at 781-CLUE or click here to get to their website.

You could get up to $1,000 for your anonymous tip.

Crime Stoppers calls are not recorded and they do not use caller i.d.

They just want your information, not your name.
