Bowling Green Police are investigating a robbery at the Fairview Avenue branch of South Central Bank. Shortly before 9:30 a.m. Friday, February 4, two subjects entered the bank. They wore dark clothes with hoods, white tennis shoes, and rubber masks. Witnesses say one of the masks included a fake moustache.
One of the robbers brandished a handgun, while the other grabbed money from a cash drawer. They fled on foot toward the medical center, after stealing $10,787. Police believe the thieves may be a black male and a white female.
