Bowling Green police are investigating a pickpocket at a local retail store on Campbell Lane. At about 5:30 p.m. Friday, December 17, someone stole a black leather wallet out of a purse at TJ Maxx.
The victim was carrying her purse in a shopping cart, and was momentarily distracted when the wallet was stolen. The thief took the victim's credit cards, and then used them at Target, Dillard’s, and Kmart to make purchases totaling $950.
Surveillance video shows a black female using the stolen credit cards to purchase gift cards, which were later used in Nashville, Tennessee.
