Bowling Green police are investigating a burglary in the 1000 block of Magnolia Street. At around 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 23, a resident was awakened by the sound of the floor creaking.
When the person got up to check on the noise, a black male was seen in the living room. The burglar said he had a gun, and after a brief confrontation, he fled out the door and ran toward the 31-W bypass.
A police K-9 unit tracked the suspect to the 1000 block of Greenwood Alley. He is described as a black male, 18-25 years old, clean shaven, with short hair, and average build. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored puffy coat.
