Acting on a Crime Stoppers tip, Bowling Green Police made an arrest last Friday in the armed robbery of a convenience store. Marquette Moore was arrested around noon the day after the robbery. He was charged with first-degree robbery and is lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.

Police are still searching for information in the robbery of an area restaurant employee. Shortly after midnight on Wednesday Nov. 12, an employee at the Wendy's Restaurant on the 31-W Bypass made a deposit at a nearby bank when suddenly two black males appeared armed with a handgun. The suspects took the bank bag and fled towards Chestnut Street.

Fire investigators are searching for clues in two recent arson fires. Authorities said that a fire at midnight on Thanksgiving day in the 1400 block of Park Street and another on Dec. 10 on Southland street where set to hide a burglary.

If you have any information about these crimes, you are asked to call 781-CLUE. Police don't want your name, just your information.
