Police are still looking for whoever stole computer equipment from the Bowling Green Boys and Girls Club last January.
So far, there has been no response, so we're asking again for your help in catching whoever thought it was a good idea to steal from a non-profit organization whose only purpose is to help children.
Just after Thanksgiving Day 2007, someone forced their way into the Bowling Green Boys and Girls Club on West Eleventh Street, and stole computer equipment.
An IBM laptop and computer, an HPX 1100 computer, and 19-inch LCD monitor were stolen, all valued at nearly $3,000. This is a huge setback for the club that serves 75-to-80 young people in our community.
The Boys and Girls Club is a non-profit organization that makes a difference, by providing a safe place for children who desperately need it. It cannot afford a loss like this.
Crime Stoppers hopes someone will come forward with information about this burglary and theft.
