Crime Stoppers: Stolen License Plates

Bowling Green Police are investigating a rash of stolen license plates.

Over the past few weeks police have taken several reports of license plates stolen off parked vehicles.

The problem has been around for years, but lately the situation has gotten worse.

Thieves taking license plates off of cars are using them to commit more serious crimes like disguising stolen cars or getaway vehicles.

If you discover your license plate missing, you should notify police immediately.

By doing so you might help to foil a serious crime in progress.
