Bowling Green police say the spike in moped thefts has them scrambling to solve the crimes and raise awareness about the problem.
Over the past ten days, at least five mopeds have been reported stolen in Bowling Green.
Once taken, authorities say mopeds can be difficult to recover.
Police encourage moped and scooter owners to use a u-lock on the tire, or lock the moped to a fixed object so thieves can't pick it up.
If you know anything about any of these stolen mopeds, please call Crime Stoppers at 781-CLUE, or click here to visit the Bowling Green Crime Stoppers website.
You could get up to $1,000 for your anonymous tip.
Remember, Crime Stoppers calls are not recorded, and they do not use caller ID.
They just want your information, not your name.
You could be the one to help police solve the mystery of the stolen mopeds!
