The Adair County Sheriff's Office is seeking your help in locating a black, 24-foot, flatbed, dove tail, gooseneck trailer.
Police believe it was stolen some time between 11 p.m. and 12 a.m. Tuesday, March 14, from a lot directly across from "Day And Day Milling Company" on Highway 55 north in Columbia. The thief, or thieves, are believed to have driven north on 55 in an older model, two-tone, light-colored pickup.
Anyone who may have seen this trailer and truck, or may know its whereabouts, is asked to contact the Adair County Sheriff's Office at 270-384-2776.
The owner of the stolen trailer is offering a $2,000 reward for its return, and the arrest of the person or persons involved. He also says the reward may increase substantially if the trailer is not recovered soon. But the first to come forward with the correct information will be the one to receive the reward.
