Over the past few weeks, more than 50 vehicles have been hit, causing thousands of dollars worth of damage. Bowling Green police say some windows were shot with either a bb gun, a pellet gun, or a slingshot, while others were smashed with bricks.
Sometime early Saturday morning, June 10, someone damaged 11 vehicles and two business windows. On the previous Saturday morning, June 3, someone broke windows in 13 vehicles. A few weeks earlier, 10 vehicles at "Gary Force Honda" had their windows shot up by an air rifle.
