Crime Stoppers: Burglary And Forgery

Bowling Green Police are investigating a burglary and forgery.

And, you can help catch the thieves in tonight's Crime Stoppers.

First they stole some checks, then they cashed them, but we have surveillance pictures to help you identify the suspects in tonight's Crime of the Week.

Bowling Green Police say on Friday and Saturday, November 28th and 29th, at least four unidentified hispanic males entered several local bank locations cashing stolen checks.

Fifteen stolen checks were forged and cashed, totaling more than 13-thousand dollars. The checks were originally stolen from a business on Louisville Road.

Bank surveillance video captured images of the suspects cashing the checks. Authorities are hoping someone recognizes these forgery suspects.

This same type of incident occurred over the weekend of September 21st and 22nd, 2007.

Authorities are looking into the possibility some of the suspects in the 2007 case are involved in this crime.

If you know anything about this burglary and forgery, please call Crime Stoppers at 781-CLUE or oclick here to get to their website.

You could get up to one-thousand dollars for your anonymous tip.
