Sometime Friday night, December 12, six pieces of artwork valued at more than $2000, were stolen from the Capitol Arts Center Mezzanine Gallery.
The artwork is described as two wall pieces, a pink and orange abstract monotype, and a digital multimedia piece showing a half-moon; and four ceramic pieces, a shiny copper and cobalt blue rounded pot, an oddly shaped and textured pink ceramic piece, a green stoneware box, and a ceramic head.
The pieces are thought to have been stolen sometime Friday night, December 12, during comedian Donnie Baker’s Official Christmas Office Party performance.
