Crime Stoppers: Stolen Stump Grinder Recovered

Late Wednesday night, November 19, 2008 someone stole a $25,000 tree stump grinder and tools from the Motel 6 parking lot on Scottsville Road in Bowling Green.

The yellow grinder is a Carlton model 3500D, with WKU and Big Red stickers on it. The rig also has a WCVK Christian Family Radio bumper sticker on the rear.

Various tools and a Poulan 16” chain saw were also stolen.

On Wednesday night, December 24, 2008 the stolen grinder was
located near the Hands Club at 746 Beech Street. It was covered up by a tarp.

Authorities are hoping someone may know who stole the grinder or left it on Beech Street.
