Police are investigating a series of patio furniture thefts from several Bowling Green neighborhoods the past few months. Last May, homeowners began reporting their outdoor lawn furniture stolen from front porches or lawns.
Heavy wrought iron chairs and tables, as well as wood and wicker pieces have been taken. The thieves are striking at all times of the day; morning, evening, and overnight.
On August 2, someone stole 14 outdoor umbrellas and several outdoor chairs and tables from a downtown restaurant. At total of thousands of dollars worth of property has been stolen.
