Crime Stoppers: Equipment Theft

Sometime over the weekend of January 9, 2009, thieves stole a gooseneck trailer loaded with equipment, from the 8800 block of Louisville Road (31W North.)

The trailer was loaded with a BARBCO Boring Machine, a piece of equipment used to bore holes or tunnel underground for utility lines. The boring machine is black and yellow rather than the standard BARBCO colors green and yellow.

The trailer is a 26-foot black gooseneck with red and yellow lettering. The trailer and equipment are valued at over $85,000. Evidence at the scene suggest the thieves stole the trailer and equipment and headed south on 31W towards Bowling Green.

If you have information about this or any crime, call the Bowling Green-Warren County Crime Stoppers at 781-CLUE. or click here to go to their website.
