Bowling Green Police are investigating a jewelry theft from Greenwood Mall. On Wednesday afternoon, January 28, 2009, two black males entered Wanda’s Jewelers in Greenwood Mall, and stole two rings valued at $37,000.
Surveillance video shows the suspects breaking into the display case and removing the diamond rings. One ring is a two-tone gold and white gold ring, with a 3-carat heart-shaped diamond. The other is a white gold ring with a 1.6-carat oval diamond.
One of the suspects is described as a black male in his twenties, wearing a black jacket with leather sleeves. The jacket has a large “P” on the front and a large design on the back. The other suspect, also in his twenties, was wearing a black jacket and a gray hoodie.
