Bowling Green Police are investigating the theft of a wallet and the forging of stolen checks.
In April 2008, an employee of Best Buy had his wallet stolen while at the store. Several months went by, and then the victim’s stolen checks started showing up at local Bowling Green businesses.
During the last week of November 2008, the stolen checks were used to purchase pizza, cartons of Marlboro cigarettes, and beer.
Surveillance video captured a white female forging the stolen checks on at least two separate occasions. The female has shoulder length blonde hair. Authorities are hoping someone can recognize the clothing and the suspect from the video and pictures.
