Crime Stoppers: Assault and Robbery

Bowling Green Police are investigating a strong-arm robbery. On Saturday evening March 28, at approximately 10:18 p.m., an assault and robbery occurred outside a restaurant and bar on Russellville Road.

The victim was waiting in the parking lot for a taxi, when two white males in their late twenties to early thirties approached him, and punched and kicked him in the head, face, arms, legs and mid-section. One of the suspects stole $600 in cash from his pocket.

Witnesses told police about a Chevy Suburban leaving the scene and stopping in a parking lot across the street, to throw something in the trash. Police later found the victim’s ID and credit cards in this trash can.
