Bowling Green Police are still investigating a burglary and theft from a local church.
Early Wednesday morning, April 8, the Crossland Church and Rent-A-Center at 600 U.S. 31W Bypass were burglarized.
Two black males entered the church and stole a dark brown leather couch and love seat, a coffee table and end table, a clock and CD player. The suspects then tore through the wall into Rent-A-Center.
They tried to steal three laptop computers, but left them behind. Surveillance video shows an older black male with a white towel around his neck inside the store.
UPDATE: Authorities have followed up on several tips but still not solved the case. Police are hoping someone recognizes the couch and table or can identify the suspect.
