Crime Stoppers: Stolen Boat

Kentucky State Police are investigating the theft of a boat.

The thief may have left a clue behind.

Kentucky State Police say sometime Saturday night or early Sunday morning, May 2nd or 3rd, someone stole a 2006 Nitro 5-91DC boat from Bowling Green Marine on Louisville Road.

The boat is 18.7 feet long, white with black and red stripes, and was on a Nitro trailer.

It had a Mercury 175 Optimax motor on it, and was covered with a gray canvas.

The boat, trailer, and motor are valued at 26,000 dollars.

Authorities found a Pugs brand camouflage rag hat at the scene, possibly dropped by the thief.
