Crime Stoppers: Bank Card Fraud

Bowling Green Police are investigating fraud at two Bowling Green bank locations.

Bowling Green Police say on Friday, April 10th, a black woman entered a Louisville Road bank branch and produced a bogus Citi Mastercard to obtain a cash advance.

Minutes later, another black woman entered a Scottsville Road bank branch and produced a bogus H&R Block debit card.

Police believe these two women were working together.

Both were dressed in business attire.

One of the women reportedly had a tattoo of a crown on her neck.

The women were able to defraud the banks of more than four-thousand dollars.

Authorities are hoping someone will recognize the women from the surveillance video.

If you know anything about this credit card theft, please call Crime Stoppers at 781-CLUE or click here to get to their website.

You could get up to one-thousand dollars for your anonymous tip.

Someone did come forward with information on the warehouse burglary and vandalism that occurred at the DESA distribution center four weeks ago.

The vandals did nearly 100-thousand dollars worth of damage.

But a call to Crime Stoppers has now led to that case being solved.

Three adults and a juvenile are being charged with burglary and criminal mischief.

Remember, Crime Ctoppers calls are not recorded, and they do not use caller I.D.

They just want your information - not your name.

Crime Stoppers has now helped solve more than 1,300 crimes in south central Kentucky.
