Crime Stoppers: Two Unrelated Armed Robberies

Bowling Green Police are investigating two unrelated armed robberies.

On Sunday night May 31, 2009 at 9:00 p.m., a black male entered the Kentucky Fried Chicken on Scottsville Road armed with a black
semi-automatic handgun.

The suspect demanded cash and then fled on foot.

The suspect was captured on surveillance video and was last seen wearing sunglasses, a blue jacket, dark cap and gloves.

In an unrelated robbery, Bowling Green Police continue to search for a white male who robbed a security guard and then shot him twice.

On Saturday night, May 2, 2009 at 11:30 p.m., a guard with On-Guard Security was picking up a bank deposit at Ryans Steakhouse.

As the guard left the restaurant, a white male wearing a ski mask came up from behind him with a pistol and demanded the money bags.

The guard gave the suspect two dark blue US Bank money bags.

The suspect then shot the guard twice and then fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing a dark gray ski mask and a blue zip-up hoodie.
