In January, a theft occured involving very specialized construction equipment stolen from a Warren county highway site.
That case is still under investigation, and Kentucky State Police again ask for your help.
KSP say sometime over the weekend of January 9th, thieves stole a gooseneck trailer loaded with equipment from the 8800 block of Louisville Road, also known as 31-W North.
The trailer was loaded with a Barbco boring machine. It is a piece of equipment used to bore holes, or tunnel underground for utility lines.
The boring machine is black and yellow, rather than the standard Barbco colors of green and yellow.
The trailer is a 26-foot black gooseneck with red and yellow lettering.
The trailer and equipment are valued at more than 85,000 dollars.
Evidence at the scene suggests the thieves stole the trailer and equipment and headed south on 31-W toward Bowling Green.
