Bowling Green Police are investigating a lawn mower theft.
Just before lunchtime on Saturday June 6, someone stole a brand new Honda lawn mower from the intersection of Mt. Victor Lane and Lovers Lane.
OPERATION PRIDE had just purchased the new mower for $650. The red Honda HRX mower was locked and cabled to a hitch trailer on a white Pontiac, parked just across from the IGA.
The groundskeeper working for OPERATION PRIDE was weed eating near the I-65 interchange when the mower was taken.
Authorities are hoping someone may have seen the mower being taken during the busy noon rush.
