Crime Stoppers: Stolen Mower

Bowling Green Police are investigating a lawn mower theft.

Just before lunchtime on Saturday June 6, someone stole a brand new Honda lawn mower from the intersection of Mt. Victor Lane and Lovers Lane.

OPERATION PRIDE had just purchased the new mower for $650. The red Honda HRX mower was locked and cabled to a hitch trailer on a white Pontiac, parked just across from the IGA.

The groundskeeper working for OPERATION PRIDE was weed eating near the I-65 interchange when the mower was taken.

Authorities are hoping someone may have seen the mower being taken during the busy noon rush.

If you have information about this or any crime, please call the Bowling Green-Warren County Crime Stoppers at 781-CLUE, or click here to go to their website. You could get up to $1,000 for your anonymous tip.

Crime Stoppers only wants your information, not your name. Their telephone lines are not recorded, and they do not use caller ID or *69.

Crime doesn’t pay...Crime Stoppers does.
