Crime Stoppers: Graffiti Vandalism

Bowling Green police are investigating another case of vandalism where a building was painted with graffiti.

It's the subject of this week's Crime Stoppers.

Bowling Green police say right at noon on Wednesday, July 15th, four young black males were caught on surveillance video walking around a building just off Scottsville Road.

One of the juveniles pulled out a paint marker, and wrote on the building causing damage.

In another incident just days later, a white van pulled up and someone opened the door and vandalized the building with graffiti.

Recently, city officials have begun cracking down on this crime.

Already, twelve people have been charged with criminal mischief.

And the city created a website to report graffiti at bgky.org/graffiti.php.

If you know anything about these acts of vandalism, please call Crime Stoppers" at 781-CLUE or click here to get to their website.

You could get up to one-thousand dollars for your anonymous tip.

Remember, Crime Stoppers calls are not recorded and they do not use caller ID.

They just want your information - not your name.

You may be the one to help police grab these graffiti goons.
