Bowling Green Police are investigating a lawn mower theft from an area non-profit group.
The thief swiped the mower from Operation Pride, and he's the subject of tonight's Crime of the Week.
Bowling Green Police say just before lunchtime on Saturday, June 6th, someone stole a brand new Honda lawnmower at the intersection of Mount Victor Lane and Lovers Lane.
Operation Pride had just purchased the new mower for $650.
The red Honda HRX mower was locked and cabled to a hitch trailer, on a white Pontiac parked just across from the Crossroads IGA.
The groundskeeper working for Operation Pride was weed-eating near the I-65 interchange when the mower was taken.
Authorities are hoping someone may have seen the mower being taken during the busy noon-hour rush.
