Police say some crook is marching to the beat of a different drummer.
Bowling Green Police say around 3 a.m. Tuesday morning, March 6, 2007, a resident of an apartment complex on Shive Lane heard some popping noises outside in the parking lot. He went out to find a white male wearing a camouflage jacket breaking into his vehicle.
The suspect smashed the window and stole a Pearl brand Marching Series snare drum. He watched the thief put the drum into a small white car.
As the victim approached the car, another suspect began shooting at him with a BB gun or pellet gun. The two suspects then fled the apartment complex down Shive Lane.
