Sheriff's deputies are investigating a call to Rector Lane in Warren County where two injured pit bulls were found.
On May 30, 2007, the sheriff's department responded after neighbors found the medium-sized dogs. They had suffered injuries that are associated with dog-fighting.
Neighbors also reported hearing a vehicle leave the scene in the direction of Allen County about three miles away.
