Crime Stoppers: Motorcycle Theft & Armed Robberies

Kentucky State Police are investigating the theft of a 1979 Harley Davidson Electraglide from a Woodburn home at around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, June 26. The cycle was stolen from the front yard, while the owner was in the backyard at a party for someone who just returned from Iraq.

Bowling Green Police are also investigating two armed robberies that may be connected. They say about 9:50 p.m. Saturday, June 26, two young black men wearing black bandanas over their faces, entered the Burger King on Morgantown Road. One of them carried a handgun and a red backpack. They got away with more than $300.

That armed robbery could be related to one at the China Buffet near K-Mart on Scottsville Road. Police say around 10:45 p.m. March 14, three young black men with red bandanas over their faces, entered the restaurant. One of them was armed with a small silver handgun, and demanded the clerk empty the cash register. They got away with $200. Police are looking for them and the driver of the car in which they fled, a small, light blue, two-door vehicle.
