Bowling Green Police say on Thursday evening, July 1, an employee of The Buckle in Greenwood Mall, was robbed while attempting to make a night deposit at National City Bank in front of the mall. Then on Thursday evening, July 29, an employee of the Family Christian Store was robbed the same way.
Both victims say they were approached by a white male in his early 20s, who stole the bank bags and ran from the scene. A witness told police the suspect may have gotten into a white Pontiac, possibly a Sunfire, with dark tinted windows. In both strong-arm robberies, the suspect was wearing a bandana over his face.
