On Thursday evening July 15, someone dumped a load of construction debris in the 3900 block of Browning Road.
Doors, cabinets, wooden planks, and other building materials were strewn along the roadside.
Just after 9:00 p.m., a motorist wanting to do a good deed, stopped to remove some of the wood and nails from the roadway, and was struck by a passing motorist.
The victim was seriously injured and flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
