The would-be robber stabbed the employee in the chest during the struggle.

Bowling Green Police say a man entered the Minit Mart on Louisville Road and Plum Springs loop just after 3:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 7.

The man walked around the counter and demanded money from the employee. The employee yelled at him, and a short struggle ensued.

The would-be robber stabbed the employee in the chest during the struggle. The assailant then ran from the store and continued south on Louisville Road.

Employees told police nothing was taken from the store.
