Crime Stoppers: Ace Hardware Shoplifting

Bowling Green Police say just after 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, a man entered Ace Hardware in Fairview Plaza and stole merchandise.

Employees told police the man walked to the aisle where the hand tools are kept, and put a DeWalt cordless 20 volt power drill under his shirt. The thief then walked out the front door without paying for it. The drill is valued at more than $200.00.

Employees say the man left in a blue Oldsmobile Cutlass.
