Crime Stoppers: Counterfeit Money

After the man left, employees noticed one of the $50.00 bills did not react to the counterfeit pen and called police.

BOWLING GREEN, KY (WBKO) -- Bowling Green Police say on Friday March 21, a man gave fake money to a clerk in the Nashville Road Walgreen's. Employees told police a black male entered the store just before 9:30 p.m. and purchased a prepaid Visa Card.

After the man left, employees noticed one of the $50.00 bills did not react to the counterfeit pen and called police. All of the bills have the same serial number.

The black male was wearing a blue and white striped shirt and blue jeans. He appeared to have a very thin beard.
