On October 22 and 23, Bowling Green hosted events for Buick Weekend. On Saturday night, two trucks, two trailers, and two cars were stolen from area hotels.

A black 1997 Ford Truck, open car trailer, and a black 1987 Buick Grand National were taken from a hotel on Wilkinson Trace. One of the Grand Nationals has "2953" printed on the windshield and "Billy T" written on the driver's side window.

A silver 2005 Dodge Ram, open car trailer, and black 1987 Buick Grand National were taken from a hotel on Scottsville Road. Both thefts occurred just after 11:00 p.m..

Bowling Green Police Detectives have viewed video surveillance of one of the thefts, and say another vehicle can be seen dropping two suspects off near the truck just before the theft occurred. One of the suspects has a noticeable limp.
