Police say just after 7:30 p.m. on May 7th, a customer of the Campbell Lane Walmart placed some money and his iPhone on top of the register as he was checking out. After completing the transaction he left, leaving the items on top of the register.

A few moments later two more customers checked out on the same register and took the property. Instead of doing the right thing and turning it in, the man put the items in his pocket.

The couple left in a silver/gray station wagon which was missing the hub caps on the passenger side.
