Officers say between September 4-to-17, more than twelve burglaries occurred on the east side of Bowling Green.

Some of the businesses hit are Allstate Insurance, The Hunt Group, Bluegrass Blends, and Dr. Harston's medical office. Included with the businesses, several apartments on Shive Lane, Kenilwood Way, and Westen Avenue were also burglarized.

A lot of property was stolen including DVD players, computer-related electronics, laptops, two diamond necklaces, digital cameras, flat screen televisions, numerous prescription drugs, and two Case knives.

Police say what ties these burglaries together is that the thieves used a pry tool to gain entry into the buildings and homes.
