Officers say between February 23 and 27, thieves destroyed two air conditioning units on top of the businesses located in the Village Center, and damaged one unit on the ground.
The crooks took the copper out of the units, rendering them useless in the process. The damage to the units exceeds $35,000.
During the investigation, officers located the stolen copper in a fence line behind the business.
