The Scottsville/Allen County Faith Coalition received a $125,000 grant to help take the message to middle ad high school students. Leaders say they hope this information will help turn kids away from drug use and abuse, because prevention is key.
"If we can prevent some of these kids from ever starting, then we can hopefully stop what happens on this end of it when we and arrest them," said Executive Director Shane Britt.
The county is eligible to apply for the grant every year for the next four years, so leaders hope with a total of $625,000, they'll be able to make a difference with the county's drug problem.
